Measuring project success it’s a tricky job
by: CameliaTypically, successful projects are considered the ones delivered on schedule, within budget, and meeting the stakeholders requirements and Failed projects those that have exceeded the time/money allocated and have not delivered what was asked. Although things may seem very simple, and the definitions of success/failure are theoretically unanimously agreed, in practice we, the project managers, very well know there is a mainly a gray area where most projects eventually fall.
This gray area owes its appearance to the everchanging baselines against which project success is measured (initial baselines and requirements or new baselines arising in the process of project
